Our ceramic coatings provide long-lasting protection and remove the necessity for regular waxing. We use only the top-quality ceramic car coating brands, offering the pinnacle of paint protection technology.
These coatings create a robust new layer over your paint, shielding it from light scratches, UV rays, oxidation, chemical damage, and stains. They also produce a hydrophobic surface that achieves a gloss level that traditional waxes and paint sealants cannot match. For maximum gloss, consider pairing your coating with one of our paint correction packages.
We add all services we perform to your vehicle's CARFAX report. CARFAX is a reputable, independent company many dealerships, auto service centers and others involved in the sale and care of motor vehicles rely on to gather historical information on the quality and care a vehicle has received over its life. Historical information includes the ownership, maintenance, accidents and other events that may affect the vehicle's safety and its value.
The ceramic coatings we use are designed to last to their designated duration. While every coating is a life-long coating, proper maintenance is required. If not, what will eventually happen is the properties will start to diminish from the elements your coating is exposed to, which will starts to break down and fracture the coating overtime.
By proper maintenance, we mean having your vehicle cleaned, preferably once every 2 weeks; and preferably, by a professional detailer such as yourselves. We suggest avoiding tunnel car washes, especially those with brushes, as abrasion tends to be what removes coatings, not to mention, the paint as well. Nevertheless, once your vehicle is coated, the more you clean it, the better the coating properties will perform, and consequently, pro long the glossy appearance of your vehicle as well.
Yes, your vehicle can still go through a car wash. Ideally, a touch-less car wash is going to be the safest tunnel wash method for your vehicle and coating. However, please keep in mind that the sealants/protections they offer is not recommended, as they likely will mask the ceramic coating properties (e.g. hydrophobic properties) and possibly clog the coating.
As a result, the vehicle's paint may no longer exhibit the same beading properties when water is reintroduced on to the exterior surface (Note: if this occurs, give us a call and ask us about having a Maintenance Wash. This can almost always remedy this effect and return the characteristics of your ceramic coating.)
As stated, car washes that physically touch your vehicle will scratch your vehicle. Not to mention, they will also diminish the coating a lot faster. Nevertheless, after any car wash, we highly recommend that you dry your vehicle off as quickly as possible to avoid water spots and water deposits from forming on the paint of your car.
Yes and No. Yes, you certainly want to bring your vehicle back for an annual decontamination, given the rain and winter conditions here in Wilmington, Delaware area. Also, if use your vehicle 13,000+ miles per year. However, this may not be necessary if proper maintenance is performed on the vehicle regularly. If you follow our suggestion of having your vehicle properly maintained every 2-weeks, you will not accumulate contamination.
The concern with paint contamination is not only that it physically sticks to the exterior surface blemishing the vehicle's appearance, but that it also creates a barrier that clogs your coating; and without a coating, paint contamination only exacerbates everyday issues such as water spots, water deposits, tree sap, bird droppings, etc. to such and an extent that it will certainly etch the paint of the vehicle.
